DJs John and Krystyna of the Bear Music Company played the best of the best disco and rock songs from the '70s, '80s, and '90s and everyone had a great time dancing and singing to the music! And in costumes, too!

We are delighted to welcome Vicki Raw who comes to SSAC as our first Executive Director.

The hiring of an Executive Director marks a significant shift in our leadership structure. It will shift the organization from being led by an Operational Board of Directors to a Governance Board.

Gustavo Ferman was here for 2 Latin Funk workshops last month which were lots of fun and very energetic. About 100 people attended and learned some rhumba, salsa, mambo, cha cha and bachata moves.

It is a breath of fresh air to have staff that without question will go the extra mile to provide the service and create the atmosphere that makes us so welcoming.

The tournament was a lot of fun for players and spectators alike. Thank you to all those players who participated!

The dance on July 19th was cut short due to a power failure. Blue Western came right back on July 26th and played all over again!

Extra funding and donations are needed to meet the extensive financial demands of maintaining the Centre.
