The Big Easy Funk Ensemble had the dance floor packed all afternoon! This high energy band paid homage to the rich musical traditions of New Orleans while infusing their own distinct west coast flavour. This was the first afternoon concert/dance and we were thrilled to have so many of you in attendance and having such a good time! Jay will invite them to come back again next year.
Kim Fenton won $76 in our 50/50 draw. Tickets to the next dance were won by Collene Sand. Congratulations!

Thanks to all the volunteers who pitch in to make these dances possible. They help with promoting the events, setting everything up and taking it down again, washing and ironing the tablecloths, tending bar, serving snacks, making the beautiful decorations, clearing tables, playing music between sets . . . you name it – they do it!
